We are diving, snorkeling, relaxing and eating some fantastic food at the new Brac Reef. This past Friday, we officially opened our doors to the public. Everything is going smoothly and we have been so excited in talking with everyone whose been calling to make reservations for the holiday season. We can't believe that a year has gone by already. Minus some fine tuning, all of the rooms, bars, pool, courtyard, beachfront and dive shop are finished and buzzing with activity. Thank you for all your comments, cheerful encouragement and following our progress on the website. We can't wait to see all of you again!

Looking forward to being there from jan,23rd to the 3rd….bringing some new clientelle for the brac too and some old ones….our gang keeps growing cause we’re GOING BACK TO THE BRAC! Any chance of a “Paloma Survivors Reunion?” What a blast that would be! We could all share pics, stories and re-live the week at Cayman Brac that SHOULD HAVE been, had it not been interrupted by Paloma. I’d LOVE to make-up those missed dives!
“P.S.R. 2010,” we can call it. I bet we could get 80-90% return with enough time to plan! Let’s NOT schedule it in November

Did any of the visitor-decorated rocks survive? I didn’t see them in the photos, and that makes me a little sad. Mostly I’m glad you guys are up and running again, though! Well done!

So glad to see you all are up and running again! Man, the Brac has taken it on the chin twice in so few years. Sad to see from the photos that the beautiful, two-story open-air structure over the water is gone. We’d heard on a dive trip to the Compass Point on East End in October about that happening.
We were also curious about the diver rocks. We have fond memories of working on ours (still have the photos).
Sadly, our thinking is they either got scrubbed clean by the wind and sand of the storm, carried out to sea or inland, or buried in the process of rebuilding…
Did any of them surface? There were so many. It was such a nice touch to the whole experience.
Anyway, glad to hear you’re up and running. I imagine the dive staff had to move on in the interim, so if anyone keeps in touch with Ken, please tell him Stephen and Laura say “hi”!
